Garena has announced Flame Arena, its latest global campaign inspired by the intensity of eSports battles and the unwavering spirit of its Free Fire community. Running in tandem with the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) Global Finals 2025, Flame Arena transports players into an in-game world that captures the excitement and energy of top-tier play.
Flame Arena was recently launched last October 29, 2025 on the game's mobile platforms aligning with the FFWS Global Finals 2025 now taking place in Jakarta, Indonesia until November 15, 2025 where 18 of the world's best Free Fire teams battle across two stages for a total prize pool of US$1.15-M (1.15 million US dollars). The Flame Arena patch update features a reworked loadout system that adds fresh tactical depth and stands at the heart of the campaign. The original eight loadouts are replaced with four brand-new ones, each designed to open up new strategies and offer players more ways to outplay opponents in Battle Royale and Clash Squad.
Enter The Flame Arena: Two Worlds, One Arena
To commemorate the FFWS Global Finals 2025, Flame Arena brings a series of in-game events, co-creation activities, and eSports-themed collectibles celebrating players' passion and competitive spirit. Now running until November 16, 2025, Free Fire players can now step into an all-new in-game realm — the Flame Arena. Within this fictional world, a secret organization hosts an annual, high-stakes showdown, summoning individuals with extraordinary skills to Bermuda to fight for glory. As the safe zone closes in, the battlefields fire up with competition until the Flame Trophy lights up the last surviving zone. Themed Gameplay Enhancements In Battle Royale And Clash Royale
During team matches in Battle Royale mode, each squad will be assigned a unique banner from the moment they board the airplane. These banners will soar in the sky as the match unfolds. When a team is eliminated, its banner will fade away, while those of the leading and most active teams will shine with distinctive visual effects. The safe zone will also transform into a radiant circle of flame that relentlessly closes in, challenging every player to reach safety before it is too late. Meanwhile, in Clash Squad, each team's spawn point will proudly display its team banner, complemented by refreshed store visuals and themed interface elements.
Exclusive Flame Arena And FFWS Global Finals 2025 Collectibles
Over two weeks, players can log in to claim a range of arena- and flame-themed cosmetics including the Molten Fury Bundle (Male), Lava Fury Bundle (Female), FFWS Bundles (Unisex and Male), and the Fury Hyperbook featuring an AC80 weapon skin, emote, and Gloo Wall. Players can also earn free rewards such as the Flame Edge Bundle (Female), Flame Arena-themed Gloo Wall, Truck skin, and more — along with Team Jerseys and Avatars of the 18 Global Finalists.
Flame Arena Mission Event
In this time-limited event, players can build and upgrade their very own Player Card by completing missions, earning 'value' points, and challenging friends in matches. Each Card changes colours as players advance through the ranks, ultimately allowing them to redeem the grand prize, an exclusive Flame Edge Bundle (Female), when they reach a certain rank. These Player Cards can also be set as battle cards to be used during matches.
Pro Players Spotlight
For the first time ever, real eSports athletes will appear on Free Fire's login screen. This year's featured stars include Vietnam's WAG.Xbor, Indonesia's Evos.Rasyah, Brazil's Fluxo.Bops, and Thailand's BRU.Wassana.
FFWS Fantasy Event
Players can collect virtual cards of FFWS 2025's professional players, assemble lineups, and earn points based on each player's real-life tournament performance. These points can be used to earn items like a Flame Arena Pickup Truck. Physical card collectibles will also be released during the Global Finals period, featuring fan-favorite pro players up for grabs.
Free Fire's First eSports Co-Creation Event
Players are invited to design artwork inspired by FFWS — drawing from their favourite players and match moments to dream trophy designs. The community will then vote for their favorite creation, and the winning design will be immortalized in-game as a Gloo Wall during the 2026 eSports World Cup: Free Fire.
