Heads up, future voters! The road to the 2026 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) is officially underway — and this year, registering to vote is easier and more accessible than ever. In partnership with the Commission on Elections (COMELEC), SM Supermalls continues to support the nationwide voter registration period now running until May 18, 2026 as part of its ongoing efforts to bring essential government services closer to communities across the country.
Voter Registration Now In Select SM Malls
For SM Supermalls, registrants are advised that they may only register at the SM mall assigned by COMELEC based on their respective district or barangay. COMELEC registration teams are present in these sites to process all types of voter registration applications — including new registration, transfer, reactivation, and correction of entries — during official mall schedules.
Democracy Meets Convenience
COMELEC reported an impressive 31,899 registrants nationwide on the first day of the registration period, showing strong enthusiasm for the upcoming elections. SM Supermalls Vice President for Mall Operations Junias Eusebio shared, “At SM Supermalls, we believe civic engagement should be easy, inclusive, and within reach. By partnering once again with COMELEC, we’re helping empower every Filipino to register and make their voice count — comfortably and conveniently.” Registrants are reminded to bring a valid government-issued ID and to proceed only to the SM mall designated by their local COMELEC office. Accepted IDs include PhilSys National ID, Postal ID, Student ID, Senior Citizen ID, Driver’s License, Passport, SSS/GSIS/UMID, PRC, and other valid government-issued IDs.
Here’s Where You Can Register At SM
COMELEC registration teams are stationed in each identified SM Supermall to guide applicants and ensure a smooth registration experience in safe, accessible, and comfortable spaces. They will accommodate all types of applications — new registration, transfer, reactivation, and correction of entries.

SM At Your Service
This initiative is part of SM Supermalls’ #SMatYourService campaign through the Government Service Express (GSE) — a program designed to make everyday public services, like passport renewals, NBI clearances, and now voter registration, more accessible to Filipinos. By providing safe, convenient, and air-conditioned spaces for government programs, SM continues its mission of nation-building through service and community engagement. SM Supermalls is honored to serve as COMELEC’s partner in fostering civic participation across communities. Together, we’re proving that convenience and democracy can go hand in hand.
Celebrating 40 Super Years Of Evolving With Every You, SM Supermalls continues to strengthen its commitment to public service by building on its greatest asset: its connection with the Filipino people. Through the Government Service Express (GSE), SM brings essential government services closer to communities by hosting key agencies in one-stop hubs across select malls nationwide. From ID applications and business registrations to permits and renewals, SM redefines the public service experience — making it safer, more convenient, and more inclusive. By building strong partnerships with government institutions, SM grows its social capital and empowers every Juan to access the services they need with dignity and ease.
