The reimagination of Greenbelt is shaping up to redefine the standard for shopping, leisure and entertainment in Metro Manila, exemplifying the best of what Ayala Malls has to offer. “Reinventing a place as iconic as Greenbelt demands both ambition and attention to detail. Among the most anticipated transformations are Greenbelt’s cinemas which include the popular 4DX – the go-to choice for an immersive multi-sensory moviegoing experience – and the beloved My Cinema, the preferred venue for private and exclusive celebrations. Greenbelt’s refreshed cinemas introduce a redesigned lobby featuring a massive video wall, ideal for visionary storytelling and showcasing trailers. The newly refined ticket booth now sports a streamlined look that adds a touch of class and modern vibe. The Movie Snackbar has also been updated with a sleeker appearance and expanded food offerings for movie lovers who enjoy snacking while watching. Making their debut are must-try popcorn flavors Truffle Parmesan, Smoked Gouda, and Salted Caramel, served in a Greenbelt-exclusive popcorn bucket design, and food options from Mamou, Potato Corner, Toki, Chihuahua and Carmen’s Best. Inside the theaters, every detail has been elevated. The cinemas now feature upgraded interior wall panels, lush carpeting and warm atmospheric lighting that creates a cozy and inviting ambiance. Seating was enhanced as well with all cinemas outfitted with Slider seats. These seats feature a wider, all-leather design, and smooth glide mechanism that intuitively shifts to a slightly reclined position without the need for electric controls – delivering both comfort and ergonomic support and ultimately enhances viewer experience. The refreshed cinemas feature upgraded technologies as well. All screens now use state-of-the-art laser projectors that deliver vibrant colors and consistent brightness. Every cinema is also equipped with a Dolby Atmos sound system, offering an immersive three-dimensional audio experience that allows sound to move around the moviegoer.
The refreshed Greenbelt cinemas were unveiled last February 10, 2026 where guests were treated to the enhanced cinematic experience and an exclusive preview of the highly anticipated “Wuthering Heights”, Emerald Fennell’s movie adaptation of Emily Brontë’s classic novel starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi. Prior to the special screening, guests were treated to hors d’oeuvres and refreshments from Dilingers with live entertainment courtesy of a live quartet.
