Originally released on Steam in 2019, Basketball Classics delivers a love letter to the golden era of sports games. Now, two-man indie studio Namo Gamo has returned to the court to bring fast-paced, arcade-style hoops to players’ living rooms with retro-inspired 5-on-5 pick-up-and-play gameplay and bone-rattling dunks.

Pearl Abyss Launches Crimson Desert Worldwide

Pearl Abyss has officially announced the launch of its new open-world action-adventure game Crimson Desert on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, Apple Mac, Epic Games Store and ROG Xbox Ally featuring English, Korean, and Chinese voiceovers along with subtitles in 14 languages. Players take on the role of Kliff, a warrior of the Greymanes, a faction from the northern region of Pailune known for its commitment to peace and unity. Crimson Desert begins in the aftermath of that peace being shattered, tasking Kliff with reuniting the Greymanes and reclaiming their homeland. As the journey expands, players discover a far greater threat emerges in the continent of Pywel.
Powered by the studio's proprietary BlackSpace Engine, the game delivers a seamless open world with detailed environments, from sprawling wilderness, bustling cities, ancient ruins, and diverse cultures, that aim to create a living world. Combat is fluid, allowing players to chain combos using swords, axes, spears, ranged weapons, and more, and hand-to-hand combat, kicks, and grapples. Progression is equally flexible with players shaping their character growth through exploration, and boss encounters. Traversal plays a major role in exploration, with mechanics such as climbing, gliding, and other movement systems enabling players to freely navigate the world.
