The Palawan Group of Companies and JCI Manila recently held a contract signing and media briefing for the JCI Manila Colorfest Carnival Run 2026, set to take place on May 31, 2026 at the SM Mall of Asia Grounds. The partnership brings both organizations together to stage a large-scale community run that combines fitness, entertainment, and advocacy, with a strong focus on mental health awareness and meaningful public engagement.

The JCI Manila Colorfest Carnival Run 2026 aims to gather thousands of participants, from seasoned runners to beginners and casual joiners, creating an inclusive space where everyone can take part in a vibrant and meaningful experience. Beyond the festivities, the event champions mental wellness, with a stronger focus this year. This year’s edition also highlights plans to support mental health initiatives with the Philippine Mental Health Association as the main beneficiary where the proceeds of the event will fund the rehabilitation of their mental health facility. During the program, Palawan Group Chief Operations Officer Bobbit M. Castro emphasized the company’s perspective on service and social responsibility. He shared, “At the Palawan Group of Companies, we believe that serbisyo goes beyond providing financial solutions. It is about being present where our fellow Filipinos need us most. Today, that includes creating safe spaces, raising awareness, and supporting initiatives that care for mental health.” JCI Manila President Edison Ke echoed this sentiment, highlighting the role of organizations in nation-building: “We truly admire companies that never forget their social responsibility. As organizations, individuals, and even as members of the media, we all have a role to play in serving our country. We are deeply thankful that despite your success, you continue to give back and support our fellow Filipinos. This kind of commitment makes a real difference.”

Over the years, the Color Run has grown into one of JCI Manila’s key legacy projects, evolving from a simple fun run into a large-scale advocacy platform. This year’s edition is expected to draw around 10,000 participants, making it the biggest edition to date. The program places a strong emphasis on mental health awareness, encouraging open conversations and supporting wellness initiatives. As part of the event, the Palawan Group of Companies will also roll out on-the-ground activations designed to engage participants through interactive, awareness-driven experiences. The collaboration reflects a shared mission to promote wellness, inclusivity, and meaningful community engagement through purposeful events. With preparations underway, both organizations invite the public to join the Color Run 2026.
