Some partnerships begin long before a student enters a school’s gates. For De La Salle Lipa, they begin with the schools that first nurture learners’ potential and prepare them for the next stage of their education. On September 7, 2026, the institution welcomed representatives from its Top 25 Feeder Schools to Appreciation Day at the Nexus Innovations Lab, bringing together partner schools from both the Integrated School and College categories for an afternoon of recognition and gratitude.
Organized by the Strategic Communications Office, the event recognized the important role feeder schools play in the institution’s mission to teach minds, touch hearts, and transform lives. Each learner who joins the De La Salle Lipa community carries with them the foundation built through years of learning and formation in their previous school. The afternoon program reflected this spirit of collaboration. Following an invocation by DLSL Voices, DLSL Vice President for Administration Br. Cyrill Kino Escolano FSC welcomed the guests on behalf of the institution, followed by a message from Chancellor Dr. Teodosia Merlin Suarez. The program’s highlight was the presentation of certificates of recognition and tokens of appreciation to representatives of the 25 feeder schools. The tokens symbolized the institution’s hope for more conversations and opportunities to work together. A congratulatory video honoring the institution’s Latin graduates added a celebratory touch while the afternoon concluded with a shared meal and acoustic performances by Musikalista. The afternoon's highlight was the presentation of certificates and tokens of recognition, symbolizing DLSL’s commitment to ongoing collaboration. Guests also watched a tribute video honoring Lasallian Latin graduates, reflecting the strong academic foundation built by these partner schools.
The 25 feeder schools representing a wide footprint across Batangas and neighboring provinces include Academia De Lipa, Batangas College of Arts and Sciences, Bixby Knolls Preparatory Academy Inc., Canossa Academy, Canossa College – San Pablo, Cuenca Institute, FAITH (First Asia Institute of Technology and Humanities) Colleges, Holy Trinity School of Padre Garcia Batangas Inc., Ibaan Saint James Academy Inc., Joseph Mrello Institute, La Consolacion College of Tanauan, LCC (Lipa City Colleges) Silvercrest, Lipa Montessori School of Learning Inc., Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU) Batangas, NU (National University) Lipa, Our Lady of Caysasay Academy, St. Bridget College Batangas, St. Thomas Academy, STI College Lipa, The Lipa Grace Academy Inc., The Mabini Academy, The Nazareth School, Sto. Niño Formation and Science School, University of Batangas – Batangas City, and University of Batangas – Lipa City. Beyond formal recognition, the gathering offered school leaders space to discuss future academic pathways, ensuring seamless transitions for students moving into the Lasallian community. Appreciation Day also gave school administrators, guidance counselors, and academic leaders a chance to connect beyond the recognition ceremony. Conversations throughout the gathering opened possibilities for networking, exchanging ideas, and exploring future collaborations that can further support learners as they transition from one educational community to another.
For current students of DLSL's partner schools, the relationships help strengthen the network of schools and educators that support their educational journey while creating opportunities for broader collaboration and learning. For prospective students, the event reflects an institution that values continuity in education and works closely with their schools of origin. By nurturing these relationships, De La Salle Lipa creates stronger pathways for learners to move from foundational education into a Lasallian environment where they can develop their knowledge, character, and sense of purpose.
