The month already kicked off at the annex of SM City North EDSA with a
showcase of the newest lineup of mobile devices from Smart Communications, Vivo
and ASUS which was eventually graced by various celebrities. However, for the
tenth staging of this exciting month-long spectacular, SM Cyberzone's Cybermonth
will put its focus on online gaming and it will be headlined by the upcoming
ASUS ROG Masters 2017 Philippine Qualifiers where aspiring DOTA 2 and Counter-Strike:
GO players from different parts of the country compete for a chance to compete at
par with some of the best pro gaming teams in the world and with a prize pool
of Php200,000 at stake.
Aside from engaging and much-awaited month-long deals on mobile devices
and internet services happening in all 63 SM Supermalls nationwide including
50% discount on select gadgets and accessories, SM has announced a bunch of
activities that would delight tech-savvy shoppers, gadget seekers and gamers
alike making the Cybermonth more interactive than what they usually expect.
These include a Cosplay Parade slated for the second and fourth week of August
where spectators can catch their favorite pop culture characters, a gaming
convention where players and enthusiasts can delve on the latest gaming
products and a blogging workshop where top tech and lifestyle bloggers share
tips and trade secrets. By the way, both the gaming convention and bloggers'
workshop are held on all weekends of August.
