Video game enthusiasts in the Philippines have joined the world in celebrating the launch of Nintendo's new hybrid gaming system, the Nintendo Switch. Despite anticipation from the local gaming community, I can see that there is less hype on welcoming the new system in our local shores compared to the system's lukewarm reception in other countries such as USA, UK, Europe, and Japan. Nevertheless, it is no surprise that the Switch is beginning to sell out in local video game shops.

The video game world continues to fall in love with the Nintendo Switch and it is expected to sell more than the initial 5 million units in the following months. Heck, even Nintendo's rivals in the gaming industry welcome the new console with open arms via social media. Alongside the Switch's worldwide release is the highly-anticipated release of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild which is eventually the last game to be released on the Switch's predecessor, the Wii U, that ended its run late last year.

Want to know more about the Nintendo Switch and its fast-selling launch game Zelda: Breath of the Wild? Then watch these.

Filipino gamers can now avail of the Nintendo Switch at leading toy stores and authorized gaming shops nationwide. They can also order the system via Lazada. The package comes with Zelda: Breath of the Wild and the party mini-game slugger 1-2 Switch. Good luck buying a Switch and enjoy the fun!!
