Every Filipino is privileged to pay his or her bills online if they
want to continue their own way of life in today's modern world, and they have
different ways to fulfill that privilege. While many prefer the traditional way
of paying bills at either their respective service providers or accredited
payment centers, there are those who prefer doing it from the comforts of their
own home through the World Wide Web. Honestly, it is rare for consumers to take
advantage of the Internet to pay bills without the need to stick to the
traditional methods but it looks quite effective for those who have their own busy
schedules.
I am yet to discover any Philippine-based standalone online payment
service that allows users to make bills payments except for Coins.ph. However,
it looks like the thrill of paying bills online and at home can benefit many
households doing home-based online jobs and even call center agents working on
a night shift once there are more standalone services available in our local shores
that allow anyone to make such transactions. If that would happen, consumers
won't have to fall in line on payment counters and go to their respective
service providers just to pay their current and unpaid balances for
electricity, water, pay TV, and internet.
