Global mobile and home electronics giant Samsung officially launched its newest flagship smartphone, the Galaxy Note 8, right at the heart of New York City with hopes that last year's troubles regarding the previous Galaxy Note installment will not happen again. In fact, the Korean tech giant assured its customers that the new smartphone will be safer and more efficient to use.

I just hope so or so I thought because the launch of the new Galaxy Note smartphone has already received mixed reactions from the tech-savvy public prior to its release, with some hoping that Samsung would do it right while others consider waiting for a more powerful Galaxy Note 9 instead. Despite the looming consequences, the Galaxy Note 8 has its own winning features that cater to the digital lifestyle needs of the phone's future users.

For starters, it is the first Samsung smartphone to sport a dual-camera system for better photos which has been acknowledged by the likes of Huawei to the surprise of those who have been updating on the device. Its 12 megapixel + 12 megapixel rear camera paired with optical image stabilization and f/1.7 and f/2.4 aperture lens respectively incorporate a distinct feature called "Live Focus" where users are allowed to add background blur while taking photos. It also happens to be the first of its kind to incorporate a Hardware-Home-Buttonless Infinity Display which is found on the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus smartphones.

Meanwhile, bundled with the Galaxy Note 8 is the new iteration of the S-Pen stylus which allows language translation, animated messaging, note-taking and other functions on a locked screen. Furthermore, the intriguing stylus also has an app pairing function where they can select two apps that can be used simultaneously in a split-screen configuration such as YouTube and Kingsoft Office. Anyway, consumers may feel a little bit disappointed about the specs considering that some of them are not as cool as the Galaxy S8 Plus, but they are still worth the try. Just check these out, shall we?
