Sun Life Financial Philippines alongside its main celebrity advocate
Piolo Pascual is bringing health and wealth together once again with the return
of the annual Sunpiology event as part of its ongoing mission to help Filipinos
achieve lifetime financial security. This time, the annual event will come in
twos as it becomes a two-part event that aims to cater not just runners but
also biking enthusiasts as well.

And kicking off the Sunpiology Duo, speaking of biking enthusiasts, is
the inaugural Sun Life Cycle PH which will fire off on November 18, 2017 at the
Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City in addition to the 9th annual Sun Life
Resolution Run which is slated on January 20, 2018 at Camp Aguinaldo in Quezon
City.
Around 1,500 individuals - both beginners and enthusiasts aged 2 to 65 years
old - are slated to compete in the spectacular biking event with seven
different categories - 100-meter tricycle ride for 2-3 years old, 500-meter bike
ride for 4-5 years old, a 30-minute long family ride for 6-15 years old with an
adult companion, a 30-minute solo ride for 6-15 years old, 20-km short distance
ride for 10 years old and above, and a 40-km long distance ride for 10 years
old and above. The last event dubbed as Bid2Bike will give participants the
chance to pedal alongside three-time Tour De France green jersey winner Robbie McEwen
and their favorite Star Magic stars led by Piolo Pascual.
The Sun Life Cycle PH cycling event is made possible in partnership
with Sunrise Events Inc., which is known for organizing world-class sporting
events in the Philippines especially the tough Ironman races. Those who will
ride in the 20-km and 40-km divisions should tackle the route starting at Bonifacio
Global City to Kalayaan Flyover towards Roxas Boulevard then back again at BGC,
with the ladder going through the course in two loops.
On the other hand, the Sun Life Resolution Run organized by RunRio features
five categories for young and old runners alike - the 500-meter run for kids,
the 500-meter walk for adults, 3K, 5K and 10K. Proceeds from these two events
will go to the scholars of Hebreo 12:1 Foundation which happens to be founded
by Piolo Pascual as well as to the ongoing and upcoming programs of ABS-CBN Lingkod
