Once
began with a small community of athletes, the triathlon scene in the
Philippines is experiencing a boom with more Filipinos are getting into a
unique swim-bike-run sport whether to enjoy, to compete against each other
professionally or both and the Vermosa Sports Hub came at the time when the
boom is near its own peak.
The
Vermosa Sports Hub, which will be launched in December 2017 and is slated to
become fully operational in the summer of 2018, is poised to become the heart
of the 700-hectare Vermosa Estate and will feature an Olympic-sized swimming
pool, an IAAF-certified track oval and lengths of bike trails in and outside
the estate situated along Daang Hari Road in Imus, Cavite. But, it is more than
just a potential major training ground for up and coming triathletes which is
where the Sante Fitness Lab will come into play.
With
the purpose of providing Filipino triathletes a complete training experience,
Vermosa Estate signed a partnership deal with barley authority company Sante International
last October 23, 2017 for the launch of the facility which will be put up inside
the sports hub. The Sante Fitness Lab will feature conditioning and
strengthening services that will benefit those who want to strengthen their own
muscle and train for upcoming triathlon races as well as its own rehabilitation
department for those who are injured and even those who want to prevent themselves
from injuries. Furthermore, the Sante Fitness Lab will be a one-stop-shop
sports facility complete with a nutrition bar and a multi-sports shop.
