Netflix, the world's leading online entertainment service, officially announced its newest original movie Psychokinesis, a new Korean blockbuster hit from the director of Train To Busan. Along with Psychokinesis, two more Korean movies Steel Rain and The Chase are slated to become available worldwide on Netflix as part of its newly-forged partnership with top Korean film distributor Next Entertainment World via its international business division Content Panda.

Directed by Yeon Sang-Ho who is responsible for the 2016 Korean zombie-thriller which was watched by 11.6 million viewers, Psychokinesis focuses on a unique theme of superpowers where a father must set out to save his troubled daughter with powers that suddenly appear to him one day. On the other hand, Steel Rain focuses on the nuclear threats within the two Koreas where a coup in North Korea forces its leader and his elite forces to come to South Korea while The Chase revolves around two people trying to chase and capture the suspect of a case that is not yet resolved for 30 years.

Netflix VP for content acquisition Rob Roy felt excited about the new development and assures that Netflix will continue to keep a close eye on more global content as part of its commitment to bring the best entertainment available. For Content Panda, the deal marks the beginning of more big things as it aims to secure more competitive contents and bring them to global markets in the near future.

Psychokinesis will become available to more than 190 million Netflix users around the world by next year while it is yet to be confirmed when Steel Rain and The Chase will be out as well.
