Let's
start with the first Asian drama series of the year brought to you by the true
number one television station in the Philippines, none other than ABS-CBN. In
case you don't know, the new Korean fantasy thriller recently concluded its
airing last month on television and is currently available on Netflix so it is
good for Filipino K-drama fans to know more about it. Starring Seon Seung-Heon and Go Ara, Black revolves around a grim reaper who is tackling a serial murder
mystery while breaking the rules of the underworld and eventually falling in
love with a girl using the body of a detective.
Black premieres on January
8, 2018 following The Good Son on ABS-CBN's Primetime Bida block. Catch it on ABS-CBN
on free TV, ABS-CBN HD for Sky subscribers or via live streaming on iWantv for
ABS-CBN Mobile, PLDT Home and Smart subscribers.

It
is without doubt or question that AXN is definitely the king of Thursday nights
when it comes to delivering world-class entertainment at its finest, and the
recently-concluded second season of Asia's Got Talent is living proof of its
fare against the network's competition. This January, AXN is set to make Thursday
nights more mesmerizing and delightful to our eyes with the world premiere of
The Elements: Cosentino which will take you to different parts of Asia and
witness street magic like no other. If you miss Impossible in Manila, then this
could be your alternative for your pleasure. Anyway, The Elements: Cosentino
begins airing on January 18, 2018 which happens to be my birthday.
Ang Dalawang Mrs. Reyes
Star
Cinema is set to delight Filipino movie buffs and conquer the local box office
anew as it will kick off 2018 with a dramatic comedy movie that will keep you
glued and smiling all out. Starring Angelica Panganiban and Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo,
the movie has already been a buzz on social media even before its first
official trailer came out. Many Filipino netizens criticize it for being a box-office
copycat parody of a not-so-popular Filipino primetime drama series while others
think of it differently. Nevertheless, it is something that will be a surprising
and delightful treat for Filipino families. Ang Dalawang Mrs. Reyes will be
shown in Philippine cinemas on January 17, 2018 which is one day before my birthday.
Here is the full first trailer if you want to know more about it.
