Sony Interactive Entertainment has officially announced the worldwide
release date of the upcoming return of the mythological action-adventure game
God of War for the PlayStation 4. Hardcore gamers and fans of the series are looking
forward to new challenges and experiences in the new chapter as it is slated to
become available on April 20, 2018.
Developed by SIE's Santa Monica Studio and under the helm of Cory Barlog,
the new installment in the God of War series revolves around Kratos now living
as a man in the realm of Norse Gods and monsters and with years of vengeance against
the Gods of Olympics behind him. Kratos needs to fight and survive in the
harsh, unforgiving world he now lives in and shares his teachings and experiences
to his son Atreus. Aside from playing Kratos, players must guide Atreus as he
discovers more of his father's past and learns new skills that will help him
survive and endure.
Filipino gamers can now pre-order the new God of War in authorized
dealers and resellers nationwide. The game will be available in either Standard
(Php2,799) or Collector's Edition (Php7,699) bundled with a God of War Journal
which can be yours on an extremely limited "first come, first served"
basis. Furthermore, the PS4 God of War Collector's Edition will include the
