In a landmark moment for the Philippine entertainment industry, Asia’s Unkabogable Phenomenal Box-office Superstar Vice Ganda officially inked a strategic partnership with MediaQuest Holdings Inc. last August 12, 2026. Hosted by television personality and advocate Jervi Wrightson a.k.a. KaladKaren, the ceremonial signing brought together top executives of the MVP Group, Slingshot Studios, and members of the press at the Meralco Building in Pasig City to celebrate what was fittingly dubbed a “phenomenal partnership”.
The strategic alliance combines Vice Ganda’s unmatched cultural reach and creative brilliance with MediaQuest’s vast ecosystem, spanning free-to-air channel TV5, pay TV, digital platforms, and telecom distribution networks under PLDT and Smart Communications Inc. (Smart). Expressing warm hospitality and high respect, MediaQuest Holdings President and CEO Ricky Vargas underscored MediaQuest’s commitment to welcoming Vice Ganda into their broadcast family, stating, “Sa isang tahanan lahat kayo magkakapamilya… We welcome you to our family as we are now Kapamilya, but more than that, we are Kapatid. So welcome. For years, the industry was competing against each other… Vice is a gift to the Filipino people. His gift is laughter; his gift is fun. And we want to share his gift to as many people as possible.” Highlighting the collaboration between Slingshot Studios, Vice Ganda, and MediaQuest, Slingshot Studios Head of Partnerships Ranvel Rufino emphasized the long-term vision of the partnership, noting, “Today is not a leap of faith. It is three proven forces — Vice, MediaQuest, and Slingshot — coming together ready and poised to bring a new brand of entertainment to the Filipino audience. While television will certainly be an important part of this partnership, we see opportunities that go well beyond the screen.” MVP Group and MediaQuest Holdings Chairman Manny V. Pangilinan, meanwhile, bestowed a new title upon the phenomenal superstar while emphasizing the reach of their joint enterprise, stressing, “This event completes the elevation of Vice Ganda to the title ‘Queen of All Networks'. Combining the capabilities of Slingshot and Vice, we offer to you the many platforms — not only free-to-air television, but also pay TV and the streaming services of PLDT and Smart… Any time with Vice is the right time.”
Vice shared deep gratitude, reflecting on personal growth, industry unity, and a reignited creative fire, addressing, “Thank you very much for your trust, for believing in me, for believing that I can offer something to your group. I’m just so grateful and super excited to be able to unleash every ounce of creativity, hard work, and passion that’s still left in my soul. Comfortability is the enemy of achievement; it’s the enemy of excellence… This partnership gives me so much excitement. Nae-ignite niya ‘yung fire sa akin. Nung sinabi sa akin [ni Sir MVP] na at this point we just need to unite because ‘I have what you don’t have and you have what I don’t have, so let’s just unite because the industry needs for us to unite in order to survive.’ Pinagsama mo ‘yon, it’s a win-win for so many people.” Vice also expressed gratitude to ABS-CBN, crediting the network for the experiences and lessons that shaped the career being carried into the new partnership, stating, “Every learning that I carry now, every experience that I have now, everything I can offer that started with them, came from the experiences I had with them.” Fans and industry observers can anticipate multi-platform content, dynamic show formats, and digital innovation from the Queen of All Networks Vice Ganda and MediaQuest Holdings in the coming months. This unkabogable milestone came after Vice renewed and reaffirmed her commitment as a Kapamilya through an undisclosed contract signing with ABS-CBN last August 6, 2026 joined by ABS-CBN Chairman Mark Lopez, President and CEO Carlo Katigbak, Chief Operating Officer Cory Vidanes, and Chief Financial Officer Ricardo B. Tan Jr. with ABS-CBN Foundation Chair Eugenio Lopez III present to congratulate Vice and show support for the Kapamilya artist.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News' Anna Cerezo that took place in Makati and aired on TV Patrol, Vice shared she is honored by ABS-CBN’s continued trust in her to lead content across the company’s growing platforms, explaining, “Patuloy akong gagawa ng proyekto sa mga Kapamilya under ABS-CBN. Sila na ang pinaka malaking supplier ng pinaka malaking content sa iba’t ibang platforms. Masaya ako na isa pa rin ako sa pinipili nila magdala ng content sa iba’t ibang platforms.” She added that ABS-CBN will remain part of all her projects, regardless of the platform, noting, “Saang platform man ako makita, hindi puwedeng hindi kasama ang ABS. Sa lahat ng projects ko sa iba’t ibang platforms, lahat kasama ko ang ABS.” Aside from her upcoming projects with MediaQuest and TV5, Vice is currently seen on the noontime variety show “It's Showtime”, airing every Monday to Saturday on GMA, and the weekly community singing game show “Everybody Sing”, Saturday and Sunday nights on TV5, and is set to headline a new collaboration involving ABS-CBN and GMA Network and the upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2026 entry “The Greatest Showdown” alongside “Bossing” Vic Sotto.
