The Blue Bomber is set to make his glorious return to the gaming world
in the coming months, and fans of the popular gaming franchise can now experience
the thrill of playing as Megaman again as Megaman Legacy Collection 1 and 2 are
slated to come to the Nintendo Switch hybrid gaming system during the summer.
Young and old gamers alike will have more reasons why they should recreate their own Megaman fever in this two-in-one collectible. For starters, the first Megaman Legacy Collection which contains the first six games originally released for the Nintendo Entertainment System will be available as a physical copy while the second collection featuring Megaman 7, 8, 9, and 10 can be yours via a download code bundled with the physical copy.
For avid Megaman fans, the Switch version of the two collections will
include features that exist in other console and handheld releases such as the much
thrilling Challenge Mode, Sound Test and Gallery. But one interesting feature
added in the Switch version is the addition of a rewind function where players
can go back to where they are before making the wrong move in their preferred
Megaman game with just the press of a button. This would remind you of Prince
of Persia: Sands of Time but the unique feature assures any Megaman fan that he
or she won't be frustrated by challenging obstacles.
Anyway, Megaman Legacy Collection 1 and 2 for the Nintendo Switch will
be released worldwide on May 22, 2018. Those who can't get enough of the
Megaman fever and are not satisfied with what they are playing may need to wait
for the Megaman X Legacy Collection and the much awaited release of Megaman 11.
But for now, it is time for us to start the fever all over again on the
Nintendo Switch.
