Starmobile, the mobile phone brand of Philippine telecommunications
company Star Telecom Alliance Resources Inc. (STAR), has officially introduced Star
Phone and One Smart Star Number by One Smart Star (OSS) as well as its own
e-warranty app which is available in selected Android smartphones. These new aftersales
services will surely make customer service more convenient for Starmobile users
and allow the brand to deliver more efficient and more personal services offline,
online or even in its stores nationwide.
For starters, Starmobile's e-warranty app will allow users to register
their devices' warranty online for faster support in Starmobile's service
centers. The app also enables customers to avail of aftersales services in
authorized stores even if they have lost their official receipt or warranty
card. Once the devices' warranty has been registered, it will be added to the
e-warranty system with the help of Starmobile's sales personnel where units
with the corresponding code unique to the sales personnel will be honored.
On the other hand, Star Phone is a Visual Interactive Voice Response (VIVR)
application where Starmobile users can have access to an easy-to-use landing
page containing a menu of services by texting *7827 (*STAR) on the smartphone's
dialer. The app eliminates the need to memorize contact numbers, websites and
social media accounts as it can lay out all possible contact points in just one
screen. These are just some of what you can get once you have purchased a
Starmobile device.
