July 20, 2018 was an enjoyable day to remember for Filipino tech junkies
and music lovers who have been at the Glorietta Palm Drive Activity Center as
Acer, one of the leading global brands in computer hardware technologies,
staged its annual Acer Day celebration with a night filled with fun and music.
What makes the night more special is that it was graced by two of the most
influential Filipino music icons today as well as a renouned and well-known
local dance group just to add flavor to the celebration.
In line with the celebration's global theme "Play Music
Together", Acer Philippines remains keen and firm on its goal to deliver a
strong message that music is one of the most powerful forms of expression and
communication wherever you are in the world. As a testament to the goal and the
theme, the brand brought together Moira Dela Torre and IV of Spades, two
artists who are making their own scene in the local music industry today, for
an unforgettable duet that is sure to be one in the books. Making the event more
enjoyable is no less than G-Force which delivered a live show-stopping performance
of the Acer Day dance which delighted the audience.
Throughout the course of the event, Acer Philippines took the
opportunity to announce various activities and promos in store to properly
commence the leading tech brand's Acer Day celebrations. One of these for
starters is the official Acer Day website where customers from around the world
can complete various tasks and challenge to score big prizes and giveaways such
as a trip to Taiwan and Acer laptops. On top of that, anyone who has done the
Acer Day Dance challenge in any of the 33 Acer Philippines concept stores,
share it on Facebook and tag 30 friends between August 3 and September 17, 2018
can get Php1,000 off their purchase of any selected Acer product. Furthermore,
those who have completed all the challenges on the Acer Day website can slash
off Php5,000 outright from their purchase of any Nitro, Spin, Swift or Helios
model.
Furthermore, Acer Philippines formally announced that a cash prize of
Php500,000 is up for grabs and it is open for amateur and professional dance
groups across the country. Any group who is doing the Acer Day signature dance
by the G-Force will have a chance to become one of the three finalists which
will take home Php100,000 each and eventually compete for the grand prize.
Plus, Moira and IV of Spades are set to collaborate for an encore appearance at
the Wish 107.5 bus which will take place by the end of August.
