Young and old gamers can now discover and explore the legacy that has defined one of the most-loved gaming franchises in the world over the years as a delightfully intriguing number of Final Fantasy games are slated to come to the Nintendo Switch including several classics which were initially available as exclusives for the original Sony PlayStation home gaming system and the first Final Fantasy game released on a Nintendo system since 1994.

Officially announced during its latest Nintendo Direct event which was held on the 13th of September, old and new fans of Square Enix's most beloved RPG franchise will surely feel nostalgic while enjoying remastered versions of critically acclaimed classics including Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy IX, Final Fantasy X and X-2, Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles. Meanwhile, those who are still hungry for more Final Fantasy goodness can also indulge on World of Final Fantasy Maxima and Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon to boot your pleasure.

All of the games mentioned are slated to become available in video game stores worldwide by next year. In the meantime, they can start their own Final Fantasy journey on the Switch with Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition HD. Initially available on Android and iOS mobile devices, Pocket Edition looks, feels and plays like the original Final Fantasy XV minus the open-world exploration and several other elements.
