2018
may arguably be one of the best years for IMPACT Wrestling in its sixteen year
old history and one of its finest milestones that rocked the year for the globally
renouned professional wrestling brand would have to be its official YouTube
channel which has now more than 2 million subscribers. You may think that IMPACT's
official YouTube channel is filled with weekly highlights, online exclusives, classic
moments and matches and more to offer. Well, that may be true but it has more
than what you always expect.
Throughout
the year, IMPACT Wrestling has been feeling generous in providing its millions
of YouTube users highly-engaging content that has literally racked up a strong
traction including a few full shows straight from the Global Wrestling Network
and its Twitch channel that can be enjoyed anytime and anywhere for free. With
that in mind, I would like to share my own hot picks of what you want to
indulge on your computers and mobile devices without breaking the bank.
1. NWA-TNA Weekly PPV #1
In celebration
of its two million subscriber milestone, IMPACT Wrestling has officially
released three astounding surprises on its YouTube channel and the first is no
less than the very first episode of what began as a series of weekly PPV episodes
under the name NWA-TNA (Total Nonstop Action). Aired on June 19, 2002, the first
NWA-TNA weekly PPV featured a twenty-man Gauntlet For The Gold battle royal for
the NWA World Heavyweight Championship.
2. TNA Slammiversary 2005
Prior
to Slammiversary XVI which turned out to be the best PPV produced by a major
professional wrestling promotion in North America in 2018 by critics, IMPACT
Wrestling released its very first Slammiversary PPV which would eventually
become an annual anniversary event. The said event marked the third year anniversary
of NWA-TNA with highlighting the top five greatest moments of its time. It
featured the second King of the Mountain match which was its main event for the
NWA World Heavyweight Championship.
3. TNA IMPACT! - December
20, 2007
IMPACT
Wrestling has always been delivering great spectacles of nonstop action and mayhem
over the years featuring many of its finest stars, even during its time as TNA.
In fact, among these spectacles happened on the December 20, 2007 of IMPACT
where it was, believe it or not, highly regarded as its best Christmas episode ever.
Want to know why? Then watch it yourself to find out. Have yourself a merry
IMPACTful Christmas, dummies!! By the way, it happens to be the second surprise
in celebration of IMPACT's new milestone on YouTube.
4. TNA Bound For Glory 2012
2018
may have been one of IMPACT Wrestling's best years, but 2012 has proven to be better
and more phenomenal than right now and one of the shows that have literally put
the brand on the wrestling world map at that time is the eighth edition of its
annual flagship PPV event Bound For Glory which took place at the Grand Canyon
University Arena in Phoenix, Arizona. BFG 2012 is filled with shockers and
amazing moments that literally rekindle the fresh and lively spirit of
wrestling fans.
5. Beyond The Lights with special
guest IMPACT World Champion Johnny IMPACT
Can't
get enough of hard-hitting impactful action? Then why don't you take a little
break from it and get a taste of one of IMPACT's original shows exclusively available
on its Twitch channel, Beyond The Lights hosted by online pop culture sensation
Alicia Atout and former wrestling star Anthony Carelli. Available on IMPACT's
YouTube, one of its episodes featured an interview with the current world
champion Johnny IMPACT fresh from his title win last October at Bound For Glory
in New York.
These
are just some of the many surprises that can be enjoyed and indulged on one of
the online world's most popular sports entertainment brands today. In fact, I
assume that there will be more so I encourage you to subscribe now on IMPACT Wrestling's
official YouTube channel and stay updated on what is happening in the world of
one of the most prominently enduring pro wrestling brands today. NUFF SAID!!
