Many
Filipino sports buffs were overwhelmed at the fighting spirit of the UP
Fighting Maroons after defeating the Adamson Falcons in do-or-die game last
November 28, 2018 which led them to their first UAAP Finals appearance in more
than three decades. Now, they are looking to see if these new heroes can take
the same kind of spirit towards their first championship title. Regardless of
the outcome, it may be surprising why their new battlecry #AtinTo is starting
to become a new inspiration in life's grandest moments.
One
case in point is the Ateneo-Motolite Lady Eagles who were also in a do-or-die
situation that could possibly take them to the finals of the Premier Volleyball
League (PVL) Open Conference. Fortunately, their perseverance have finally paid
off with #AtinTo as their own battlecry and inspiration. Luckily for me, I
managed to watch the final moments where the Ateneo-Motolite players have exceeded
their own limits and challenged themselves to defeat BanKo Perlas Spikers in a
highly competitive fifth set which was one to enjoy and bask in their
struggles.
I'm
sure that many Filipino netizens are using #AtinTo as their own battlecry
towards their enduring endeavors and forthcoming success. But sometimes there
are various instances where the battlecry becomes a toll for those who are struggling
hard in their own battles. In any case, there is a deep understanding behind
the birth of the said battlecry and it will be without question that it may not
last long but it is good for any of us to learn that there will always be a
better tomorrow waiting for us.
