Glorious has created buzz in the local entertainment scene since it was first
announced and eventually drew strong numbers when it became available, but that
was only the beginning of what's in store from ABS-CBN's online streaming
service. If you want something to enjoy with your loved ones on the month of
love, don't worry about a long search since iWant offers an intriguing variety
of original series and films featuring unique stories that tackle romance,
thrill and intimacy. The best thing about it is that they can all be enjoyed
for free.
Some
of these titles have generated the same online buzz as Glorious and were
literally on the top list of trending topics on social media, more particularly
on Twitter. Without further ado, here is what you need to know about these new
titles that are available for online and offline viewing on iWant whichever
suits your fancy.
Allergy In Love (Starring Pocholo Barretto
and Chienna Filomeno, Written and Directed by Joross Gamboa)
Johnson
Tayona (Barretto) gets an extreme and potentially fatal allergic reaction
whenever he is exposed to physical intimacy. His condition and past experiences
have made him an advocate of self-love and even write a book about it to
inspire others. Incidentally, Ayama (Filomeno), a fan of Johnson's book, meets
her favorite author, gets to know him and eventually falls for him. However, as
they spend more time together, Johnson also finds himself falling for Ayama. But
his condition will make him think twice about going deeper into their relationship
because any instance that will excite him will literally trigger his allergic
reaction which may lead to his imminent death.
Hush (Starring Mica Javier, Gwen
Soriano and Haiza Madrid)
This
erotic-drama anthology series features stories of different people going through
their individual journeys of self-discovery, intimacy and fulfillment of sexual
fantasies. Now available on iWant is its first two episodes: Swingers which is
about a couple experiencing a seven-year itch joining a swingers party where
one can randomly choose his or her partner for the night, and Here She Comes
where a girl who is losing interest in sex life with her fiancé and discovering something
hidden about herself as she struggles with such an ordeal. More episodes will
be released in the coming weeks, which will tickle both men and women's sexual
fantasies. The only downside is that you can only watch Hush between 11 pm and
6 am due to its sensitive materials that are not suitable for children.
High (Starring Markus Paterson
and Ria Atayde)
Released
earlier this month, the action-suspense series is about Miguel (Paterson) who
is going through an underground game in order to save his sister (Atayde) who
is kidnapped by a dark web syndicate.

This
bizaare and twisted Valentines Day offering is not all about rainbows and sunshine
as it is about a crazy love-struck couple who are planning to kill themselves
on the night of the 14th of February. With the help of Cody (Santos), the
couple will try to complete a perverted list of tasks to prove their love for
each other while Cody shoots all of their escapades for a documentary film.
Will the couple experience love as they wish or end it in tragedy? Find out as
it premieres on the 16th of February, just two days after Valentines.
The Gift (Starring Nash Aguas and Sharlene
San Pedro, Produced By Dreamscape Digital)
Cocoy
(Aguas), a teenager who is suffering from Asperger syndrome, and Tina (San
Pedro), who has a congenital heart disease, meet in a therapy clinic and will
soon experience love and hope for each other. The film has been commended for
its story and the overwhelming performance of its main stars which is obvious
why #WatchTheGiftOniWant became the talk of the online world following its
release.
S.P.A.R.K. (Starring Andrea Brillantes
and Grae Fernandez)
Tackling
the blossoming love between two young teens, it tells the story of campus crush
and trickster Drei (Fernandez) who gets into trouble after damaging the stalls of
a pottery barn. As punishment, the barn boss assigns Beth (Brillantes), a sweet
lass raised in the province, to teach Drei the basics of pottery. The two start
out as enemies and eventually develop a relationship that blooms into something
beautiful - a lot like love.
