In time for the celebration of International Women's Month, four of ABS-CBN's finest leading ladies are being nominated for Favorite Trending Pinoy in the 2019 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards which is slated to air across Asia on March 25, 2019. These include Liza Soberano whose movie Alone Together has recently grossed more than Php350 million, Julia Barretto fresh from the recently-concluded primetime drama series Ngayon At Kailanman, phenomenal box office queen Kathryn Bernardo and FPJ's Ang Probinsyano mainstay Yassi Pressman.

The Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards is an annual event where millions of kids are given a chance to support and vote for their favorite personalities, movies, TV shows, sports stars, video games and more. Aside from the Favorite Pinoy Superstar award which is literally dominated by ABS-CBN stars, Filipino kids can also vote for who they choose to be the Favorite Pinoy Internet Star whether it is Ella Cruz, Hannah Pangilinan, Kristel Fulgar or siblings Hanz Kyle and Niana Guerrero.

All they need to do is to vote for their favorites on Twitter by commenting using the hashtag #KCA2019 or online via Nickelodeon KCA's official website. Winners of these categories will be announced during the awards night which will be aired across Asia at 6:00 pm.

Bigger Stakes Abound On #ChooksPilipinas3x3's Last Leg

The Chooks-To-Go Pilipinas 3x3 is nearing its grand finale, but its final leg which is slated to be held on March 31, 2019 will have bigger stakes for the teams advancing to the main stage as the champion of the Philippines' premiere 3x3 basketball league will be given an automatic berth to the upcoming FIBA 3x3 World Tour aside from the Php1 million cash prize and the chance to compete in the Chooks-To-Go 3x3 Asia Pacific Super Quest on April 6 and 7, 2019.

This interesting development, which was announced during the fourth leg of the league, was made possible due to the league's enduring efforts and continuing strong traction which eventually led FIBA to upgrade the status of Philippine 3x3 basketball to Quest level, specifically level 7 (purple). Of course, I can assume that the Samahang Basketball ng Pilipinas (SBP) has already welcomed it with open arms considering that 3x3 basketball is highly regarded as the literally best chance for the Philippines to compete in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Will the 1Bataan Risers be able to prowel through the competition and take the opportunity to compete against the best in the world? Well, let's see it for ourselves and find out if they have what it takes on the 5th and final leg of Chooks-To-Go Pilipinas 3x3 on the 31st of March.

#KapamilyaNaSiDoraemon

On the celebration of its 20th year anniversary in Philippine television, the popular and well-loved Japanese animation character Doraemon is set to delight and entertain a new generation of younger Filipino viewers as he officially makes its long-awaited move to his new home, ABS-CBN.

In a trade launch held at the Green Sun Hotel Axon last March 5th, the robot cat introduced himself as the newest member of the Kapamilya network's growing family along with Nobita, Shizuka, Suneo and Takeshi. Doraemon's move to ABS-CBN was made possible through a deal forged between the network's Acquisition and International Sales Distribution division and the companies owning the rights to distribute the long-running anime (Animation International, ShoPro and ADK Emoticons).

The long-running Japanese anime follows the adventures of Nobita Nobi, a young boy who suffers from bullying, and Doraemon, a robot cat sent by one of his descendants from the future to protect and guide Nobita. Using his four-dimensional pocket where he pulls out his gadgets from, Doraemon helps Nobita in their uncanny adventures. Catch the long-awaited return of Doraemon on Philippine television beginning May 27 at 5 pm on YeY, which is exclusively available on ABS-CBN TV Plus channel 4, Skycable channel 1 (Metro Manila, Rizal, Cavite, Laguna, Bulacan, Lipa) and Sky Direct channel 3.
