MYX,
the number one music channel in the Philippines under ABS-CBN's subsidiary
Creative Programs Inc., formally welcomes its new set of VJs namely Edward
Barber, Ylona Garcia and 2019 MYX VJ Search winners Anton Fausto, Aya Fernandez
and Dani Mortel. It also introduced its new online playlist hub named All Music
MYX on YouTube.
In
a press conference held last July 11, 2019, MYX welcomes Hiwaga ng Kambat star
Edward Barber who is all set to employ his hosting skills and exude his charm
even more while introducing music videos and hosting special segments on the
channel. According to Edward, he has been eyeing the MYX VJ job long after he guested
as a Celebrity VJ a few years ago alongside his partner and Pinoy Big Brother 737
big winner Maymay Entrata. On the other hand, the former PBB Teen housemate is
now adding video jock to the many hats she wears as she embraces the challenges
in various MYX shows as the youngest member of the music channel's family.

Anton, a charming boy-next-door from Ateneo De Manila University, welcomes the opportunity
to talk about his love for music as one of the new MYX VJs. He is a former
radio student jock who also joins the weekly podcast of his mom, bestselling
author Rose Fres Fausto, on financial matters. Beauty queen Aya is also ready
to make her mark on the screens as a VJ after being crowned Miss Tourism
International Philippines at the Mutya ng Pilipinas 2018 pageant and finished
in the top 5 of Miss Tourism International 2018. Meanwhile, lifestyle vlogger
VJ Dani was featured on a billboard in Times Square, New York after winning the
NYC Times Square Campaign for her series of self-produced online content. Both
Aya and Dani have graduated cum laude with a Broadcast Communications degree
from the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City.
Aside
from the new stalwarts joining MYX's roster of VJs which include Robi Domingo
(VJ Robi), Ai Dela Cruz (VJ Ai) and Samm Alvero (VJ Samm), MYX introduced its
newest YouTube channel All Music MYX purely devoted to MYXclusive musical performances
from Filipino and international acts. All Music MYX features fresh and
throwback videos from the channel's extensive library making it a leading music
source in the country today. Debuting on All Music MYX is a brand new episode
of MYX Live! uploaded every Thursday before its television premiere on Sunday
at 8 pm. Among the featured performers on the show's new season are Shanti
Dope, IV of Spades and Kyline Alcantara to name a few.
