An Excerpt From "Snow White"

Lipa Ballet School successfully staged its own adaptation of the popular childhood classic Snow White last June 24, 2019 at the CAP Development Center Gymnasium in Ayala Highway, Lipa City and hundreds of spectators were able to witness its students perform and give justice to the story through ballet dancing. It was indeed worth watching for those who have been there, but it is a different story for some who have been part of one of the city's finest schools.

For them who have been mastering their own crafts since the day they have joined Lipa Ballet School, it is without question the culmination of their efforts and struggles which they have been enduring for a long time and it would not become possible without the guidance of the school's artistic director Girlie Loyeca. She shared valuable words of wisdom to students which are highly regarded as inspiration for them to reach their fullest potential and become the best performers as they can be. The same can be said for the school's slate of instructors who complement its supportive and well-rounded environment where there is always room for improvement.

Before long, many students were grateful for the opportunity and teachings given to them by the school which was considered to be a third home for some and among them is Sophie Carstensen who played as the lead character in Snow White. When she entered and joined Lipa Ballet School before her seventh birthday, she didn't think that the school would be good for her at first. But she began to love it because of the friends she have made and her positive perception about the classes learned at the school. Ten years later, she would persevere to become one of LBS' finest products as a result of her hardwork and dedication for what she love to do with the help of her friends and constants as well as the guidance of her teachers and peers.

Carstensen's decade-long experience is an essential example of what Lipa Ballet School can offer and her story which I am sharing in this article may inspire parents to take their young lasses to the likes of LBS and let them discover for themselves their own experience of how it feels to learn many new things inside. Perhaps the best thing I've learned after reading Carstensen's testimony on her LBS experience is that a strong friendship will always be a major factor for one to make her dedication worth the sweats and tears. Anyway, kudos to Sophie Carstensen and the students and teachers of Lipa Ballet School for a successful production!!
