In commemoration of the 30th year anniversary of its original release,
globally renouned Japanese video game publisher and developer SEGA officially
introduced the Sega Genesis Mini compact retro video gaming system bringing one
of the iconic 16-bit gaming systems to old and new generations of gamers alike
and it is now available around the world, including the Philippines.
The original Sega Genesis that has defined a generation of gamers with
its unique library of games that deliver an arcade-like experience within the
comforts of home makes its return to the gaming world as a slick, miniaturized
unit that bears similarities to the system's original model. The Genesis Mini
is plug and play ready and comes with 40 legendary games from the system's
library out of the box which were made possible by Sega's M2 plus two exclusive
ones that were never released for the system outside Japan. These games include
the following:

The Sega Genesis Mini is priced at about Php5,000 and comes packed with
power and HDMI cables and two wired three-button controllers. It is available
at video game and toy stores nationwide including Datablitz, Game One PH, Toys
R' Us and Toy Kingdom as well as online shopping sites Lazada and Shopee.
