While thousands of Filipinos packed the world-famous Philippine Arena to show their support for the national athletes in the opening ceremony of the 2019 Southeast Asian Games last November 30, 2019, more Filipinos were able to watch the live telecast of the event on ABS-CBN making the spectacle the most watched program of the entire weekend. 

With dazzling performances of Filipino cultural dances, world-class production numbers and appearances of legendary athletes, the Philippines 2019: 30th SEA Games Opening Ceremony registered a national TV rating of 29.2% based on data from Kantar Media, the highest of all programs aired on Saturday and Sunday (December 1). Many viewers also opted to watch the event online with ABS-CBN News' live streaming on Facebook Live hitting 1.8 million views with 63,000 reactions. Those who have missed the event can catch it up in full on ABS-CBN's online streaming service iWant. Filipino netizens were also united in praise along with spectators and households for the 2019 SEA Games Opening Ceremony with hashtags and topics related to the event among the top trending nationwide and even worldwide.

Meanwhile, the premiere media and entertainment company in the Philippines continues with its coverage of the region's prestigious biennial multi-sport event through its sports arm ABS-CBN Sports with football, volleyball, gymnastics and swimming competitions as well as several events in athletics being aired live on S+A, LIGA and iWant. S+A's flagship sports program The Score hosted by veteran sports anchor and analyst Mico Halili will also be aired for the duration of the games at 9 am and 8 pm to deliver the latest updates on the medal tally and interviews with winning Filipino athletes and sports personalities. On the other hand, highlights of men's basketball, 3x3 and weightlifting featuring Hidilyn Diaz will be available on demand via iWant.

It also announced that the series will be visiting iconic locations in various countries around the world including Pakistan, Japan, New Zealand, Thailand and South Africa.

ONE Warrior Series put together a wildly successful run throughout 2019, travelling to different countries in search for the world's finest and greatest martial arts fighters. The best athletes have moved on to compete and earn a six-figure contracts with ONE Championship, the world's largest mixed martial arts organizations. LGD, one of the best Chinese-based professional gaming squads in the world today, has relaunched its LGD.INT expansion team in partnership with Philippine eSports organization eSportsPlay Gaming. The announcement of the relaunch was forged through a contract signing between the two parties led by eSportsPlay Gaming chairman and CEO Ivan Angelo Cuevas and COO John Tse and LGD CEO Pan "Ruru" Jie and General Manager Pan Fei.

LGD.INT (LGD International) was among the forces to be reckoned with in the early years of the DOTA 2 scene considering that it featured international gamers such as Rasmus "Misery" Flipsen, Theeban "1437" Siva and more. Taking a different approach for the new LGD.INT squad, LGD and eSportsPlay are set to scout, train and coach aspiring professional gamers from different parts of Southeast Asia including the Philippines. The final lineup, to be finalized by the two entities, will then begin set its sights on conquering the biggest stage in the DOTA 2 circuit - The International.

Through the new partnership for the newly rebranded international squad, eSportsPlay is set to build a training headquarters in Pampanga which aims to train future LGD.INT members. Furthermore, it is targeting the creation of a new gaming arena in Cebu.
