realme, the fastest-growing smartphone brand in the world today,
introduced its first 5G smartphone, the realme X50, which eventually marked the
beginning of the brand's new goals for 2020 which includes introduction of new
devices with unparalleled features and performance that can further increase the
number of smartphone shipments from more than 25 million in 2019 to fifty
million in the new year.
In just over a year, realme has definitely achieved its own milestones
in a quicker pace from record-breaking online and offline sales to becoming the
fastest-growing smartphone brand in the global market based on data from various
third-party tech analytics organizations such as Counterpoint Research due to
its aggressive approach of releasing high-performing mobile devices accessible
to consumers who want to experience optimum smartphone performance with
unrivalled features and innovations. These milestones will push the brand to
continue offering new and highly competitive products - from budget to upper
midrange devices - throughout the new year with the Dare To Leap spirit as its
guide.
Among these milestones reflect realme's exponential growth and widening
reach in 22 markets around the world, more particularly India and Southeast
Asia. According to IDC, realme has the second highest market share in the
world's second most populated country at 26.5% and the fourth largest share in Indonesia.
It was the 5th overall best-selling smartphone brand in Southeast Asia during Lazada's
2019 year-end sale after registering record-breaking sales numbers in the
Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam. realme was ranked 7th in the list of the
top smartphone brand results in the world based on Counterpoint's Q3 2019
results and fifth in Spain as of November 2019, a month after it entered the
said market.
Starting with the realme X50 which will be available in the Philippines

broader audience. The X50 boasts of contemporary design, reliable performance
and an affordable price tag ushering in a new era for realme smartphones which
