Available for free as part of the MILO Home Court initiative, the weekly series of instructional videos is produced and well-designed to envision and inspire parents and children to channel their energies positively at home through sports, hone their skills safety and nurture the life-long character values that come along with it such as discipline, hardwork and self-confidence. In partnership with expert coaches and partner organizations that have produced some of the finest professional athletes in the country over the years, the MILO Sports Clinics Online sports a series of free training modules for kids aged 7-12 years old on the fundamentals of four key sports disciplines: basketball, volleyball, taekwondo and gymnastics.
Parents and their kids can access these modules on the official YouTube channels of The BEST Center (where notable graduates include 5-time SEA Games Gold Medalist Kiefer Ravena and national team members Juan and Javi Lopez de LlaƱo), Philippine Taekwondo Association (home of SEA Games Gold Medalist Pauline Lopez), and Club Gymnastica PH (former training grounds of world champion Carlos Yulo) from April 20 to May 14 in which every module focuses on a certain technique or skill that will allow participants to practice and develop their own skills of the sport they love and is developed with a scientific and modern approach by leading national sports associations and organizers. These programs would ensure that kids can enjoy fun, safe and beginner-friendly training sessions within the comforts of home and can also encourage parents and guardians to join their children in following the instructions and performing new skills.
Official announcements and updates on the MILO Sports Clinics Online programs can be found on MILO Philippines' official Facebook page. Those who have completed these training modules will receive a special badge of participation found on MILO Philippines' Facebook recognizing their hardwork and celebrating the values learned during the experience. The MILP Sports Clinics Online, along with the recently-concluded Champions IG Live Sessions held last April, is in line with the World Health Organization's recommendation for kids aged 5-17 to accumulate at least 60 minutes of physical activity daily in the most unprecedented times where staying at home becomes everybody's top priority because of the continuing threat of the recent worldwide health crisis.
With MILO's new and engaging platforms for tomorrow's champions and the new MILO Champion Formula that contains more milk, packs with more champion energy nutrients (PROTOMALTO, Iron, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B3, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12), and sports more than usual in one sachet at the same suggested retail price in supermarkets and grocery stores nationwide, parents and children will have the right energy to stay active and healthy at home and will eventually say loud and proud, 'we can conquer everything'. Thumbs up, thumbs down!!
