Among these events is the MLBB 515 Low Budget Cosplay Week, which ran from May 7 to 14, where participants recreate their favorite MLBB heroes with their creative minds and whatever resources are available in their homes. The top five most creative cosplayers were able to win a Nintendo Switch gaming console each. Meanwhile, those who have been watching any of the celebration's online events were able to collect in-game prizes and a free hero plus 10 Nintendo Switch gaming systems, Airpods and 20 Beats Solo headphones.
Capping off the celebration is Community Hero: City Rival, the first online inter-city MLBB tournament where teams from 40 different cities all over the country compete to become number one and win the lion's share of the Php300,000 prize pool. In the end, it was Pasig City that clinched the top spot in the competition after a gruelling series of intense matches and is hailed as the first Community Hero: City Rival Grand Champion. Following the highly successful 515 celebration, MLBB gamers were treated to a free Luo Yi hero and a special free skin upon opening the game on their smartphones and logging in using their MLBB accounts.
