For this season, PPGL commenced with the series of daily community cups where fans can take part and play with their favorite streamers and eSports influencers such as Z4pnu, C.Hix, Ghostwrecker, Kristine Santamena, and Een Mercado as well as shoutcasters like Shinboo and Manjen for MLBB. These cups, which will run until the first week of June, will feature long-form tournaments running on the horizon with a daily cash prize of Php10,000 at stake and for the benefit of the Philippine Heart Center. This is part PPGL's newly-forged commitment to gather aid for institutions working round the clock to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.
The MLBB Community Cups will be followed by group stage broadcasts for Call Of Duty Mobile and Rules Of Survival on June 20 and June 21, respectively. The group stages are set to conclude with Mobile Legends Bang Bang and Marvel Super War starting July 11. Teams surviving the group stages will then face each other in the PPGL Grand Finals on July 31-August 2, 2020. Mineski Global founder and CEO Ronald Robins stated that while promoting responsible gaming in the country, PPGL also enables communities to express solidarity towards the frontliners who are working to ensure the safety of Filipinos from the threat of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In partnership with ESPN and Netflix, leading global music streaming service Spotify has curated two different playlists tied to the wildly popular documentary series The Last Dance which chronicles the journey of Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls towards their 6th NBA championship trophy in the league's 1997-1998 season. With assistance by Rudy Chung, the music within the series has generated buzz and interest as much as its story. Available now, the playlists will feature one with music and the other one flavored with podcasts.
The Last Dance's official playlist includes music from and inspired by the series such as LL Cool J's "I'm Bad", Prince's "Partyman", The Alan Parson Project's "Sirius" which happens to be the theme song of the Chicago Bulls during the 97-98 season and many others. On the other hand, the second playlist, as part of Spotify's recently-launched podcast playlists, will comprise of podcasts that are designed to help listeners find their next favorite show by introducing them to the latest and greatest in podcast content. After The Last Dance podcast playlist, updated once a week, will feature podcasts that discuss and dive further into the series, giving streamers a closer look at the show, including episode from The Bill Simmons Podcast, Jalen & Jacoby The Aftershow, Skip and Shannon: Undisputed, and more.
