With safety is of the highest concern for everyone and mass gatherings are foreseen to be limited in the coming months as part of the so-called "new normal", TMP is set to roll out the GR Sutra GT Cup Asia - Philippines on July which is a greatly interesting way to sustain the excitement of motorsports in the country but in a safe environment.
The GR Sutra GT Cup Asia - Philippines is a virtual racing program under Toyota's Gazoo Racing motorsports program and will feature the newest iteration of Toyota's iconic sports badge - the GR Sutra. The event will be held online and is open to the public, 18 years old and above. The GR Sutra GT Cup Asia - Philippines winners will get a chance to participate in the regional finals of the GR Sutra GT Cup Asia where they are slated to race and compete against the best virtual racers in Asia straight from the comforts of their own homes. And from TMP's perspective, the program is set to be a fun and safe alternative to the Vios Racing Festival considering that eSports in the Philippines has grown over the years and its addition to various international sporting programs further legitimized the sport as strongly evidenced by the Filipino medalists it has produced at the 2019 SEA Games.
