New lawyers who have graduated from De La Salle Lipa and eventually passed the 2019 Bar Examinations have become part of history as they have taken their oath, along with more than 2,000 fellow Bar Passers, in a virtual oath-taking ceremony held inside the campus's renouned Sentrum last June 25, 2020. The event was made possible through teleconferencing via Zoom and eventually broadcasted live on air and online through People's Television Network (PTV), the national government's flagship television station.

Present during the historic affair to deliver their opening remarks were College Of Law Dean Atty. Emerito Englinco, Vice-Chancellor For Academics Dr. Iezyl Torino and Vice-Chancellor For Research Bro. Manuel Fajarillo, FSC. Torino, in her opening remarks, urged the new lawyers to contribute to the community - aside from the competencies and skills - their kindheartedness, "the person that you are because you are a Lasallian." "Be sensitive to yourself because there is a limit to what you can do. Be kind to others. Be sensitive of what they can give to us. Be sensitive to God as He also has plans for us," she added.

On June 9, 2020, the Supreme Court en banc has passed a resolution to allow the virtual oathtaking of the 2019 Law Passers in light of the community quarantine restrictions being imposed nationwide. In its statement, the Court noted that the current health crisis has made the traditional way of oathtaking not possible as it had to take into consideration the existing government policies on public health, particularly on mass gatherings. While the holding of the online oathtaking ceremony was exclusive to the 2019 Bar Passers, the 2020 Bar Examinations will be held sometime around 2021 and is slated to take place in Metro Manila and Cebu.

De La Salle Lipa garnered a passing rate of 35.48% in the 2019 Bar Examinations with eleven new additions to the institution's pool of lawyers. Although they feel sad about the usual traditional oathtaking held inside either the SMX Convention Center or PICC not happening due to the COVID-19 pandemic, several of the new Lasallian lawyers have felt the love and support of the community and appreciate its efforts to give them nothing but the best. In an interview on DLSL's official website, Atty. Ana Karmela Amante stated that the lawyer's oath is not defined by the way it is recited and is one that swears their duty to the courts, to the public, to society and to the country. From the neighbor of good news and fresh stories, a trubitastic congratulations to the newest members of De La Salle Lipa's pool of lawyers!!
