The ongoing COVID-19 global pandemic has indefinitely changed the way of living for millions of Filipinos. It also pushed world-renouned events and sports activities to be postponed due to the strict health and safety restrictions that prohibits the staging of large mass gatherings in order to prevent the spread of the virus. However, Tuason Racing School (TRS) quickly adjusts to the new normal and made the transition to the digital space since the start of the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in Metro Manila and Luzon last March.

Headlining Tuason Racing's imminent entry into the digital space is the impending staging of motorsports events within the virtual world. Sim racing may not be new in the world of e-sports in any case, but it has now changed the perception of gamers and enthusiasts with the likes of Mercedes-Benz Virtual GP, All-Star Racing Battle Royale and GR Supra GT Cup Asia among others. Considering that sim racing in the Philippines is still in its infancy stage, the country's premiere racing school will lead the way in providing a platform where aspiring and professional racers can hone and eventually improve their skills on the track and on online platforms.

Speaking of online platforms, Tuason Racing has also staged and been involved in different programs across various social media platforms. These include the recently concluded Race For Frontliners and its cooperation in the GR Supra GT Cup Asia 2020. The racing school is also set to launch on August a new online league featuring a complimentary spectators program where viewers can make their own teams and win prizes as well as weekly content for local racing enthusiasts entitled Riding Shotgun Conversations With TRS. Furthermore, TRS is also keen on pioneering its new batch of forthcoming racing events throughout the year featuring on and off-track contactless racing.

TRS founder and CEO JP Tuason believes that, even though the world reels from the COVID-19 health crisis, the automotive industry in the Philippines and around the world will soon recover with new things that can be applied in the near future. With mobility companies already in their own evolution stage and although there will be casualties along the way, Tuason stated that these companies will thrive to survive but sometimes it is not the same as usual in the past prior to the pandemic. Let's hope for the best within the wonderful world of motorsports!!
