In 2004, Solar Entertainment Corporation launched ETC as the only female digital channel on Philippine free TV and it has been known for its style-oriented reality shows, home and lifestyle programs, celebrity news and engaging series and movies that are curated by the channel's programming team with the goal of inspiring and empowering the modern Filipino woman. Among ETC's current top-raters include "Gordon Ramsey's 24 Hours To Hell And Back", "Top Chef Junior", and "Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist". On the other hand, ETC Flix showcases heart-moving art films, award-winning motion pictures, crowd-pleasing TV movies, and Hollywood blockbusters.
Moved by the desire to ease the lockdown blues of Filipino TV viewers, ETC began airing Tagalog movies under ETCinema which is now the go-to block for iconic Tagalog movies, classic comedies and acclaimed local indie films. Since its inception, the ETCinema quickly zoomed to the channel's top five programs and dominated the 2 pm and 10 pm weekday timeslots over its direct competitors which literally continues to enjoy until now. This paved the way for ETCerye which will feature Tagalized foreign drama series starting off with "Everywhere I Go", a romantic comedy series about a businessman and a female architect with opposing personalities who must share the same household, followed by another epic Turkish dizi series "Endless Love" revolving around two lovers from different social classes.
With these on hand and more coming soon, Filipino viewers are slated to relate to the dizi themes of true love, family and triumph against all odds imbued in these series. Dubbing the dialogues in Tagalog, which is made possible by Alkemi Recording Studios, will further endear these international series to local small screen buffs. Anyway, "Everywhere I Go" will have a three-episode premiere on September 19 (Saturday), 8 pm, followed by its regular airing on weeknights starting September 21 at 8 pm.
ETC is available on SKYcable channel 16, Cignal channel 21, Cablelink channel 34, digital free TV channel 21 in Mega Manila, and more than 200 cable operators nationwide. For updates and program schedules, visit www.etc.com.ph, @ETC on Facebook and @etc_channel on Instagram.
