Vivo VISION+: A New Global Initiative Promoting Mobile Photography

Renouned for its industry-leading camera technology and solutions through it slate of highly-engaging mobile devices, global smartphone brand vivo continues to promote mobile photography with the launch of VISION+, a new initative that will form a new visual content ecosystem through content co-creation, education, culture exchanges and other initatives. This effort is a fusion of vivo's product innovation leadership and the evolving needs of smartphone users who view photography as part of their culture and everyday life amidst cirumstances occurring across the globe.
Launched last September 7, 2020 in Beijing, China, the vivo VISION+ ecosystem will comprise of the following: the vivo VISION+ Mobile Photography Awards, the vivo VISION+ Mobile Photography Academy, the vivo VISION+ Master Class, the vivo VISION+ Youth Program and the vivo VISION+ Photographers Federation. In partnership with National Geographic, the vivo VISION+ Mobile Photography Awards is a competition where smartphone users worldwide can showcase their photography skills. The theme and progress of the contest will be published on the official websites of both vivo and National Geographic.

On the other hand, the vivo VISION+ Mobile Photography Academy is a public photography education initiative which will provide an artistic and cultural exchange plafform for the masses. Through the academy, photography enthusiasts will learn to discover, understand and convey the creative spirit of mobile photography. The vivo VISION+ Master Class aims to provide a cultural exchange platform for photographers and users while the vivo VISION+ Youth Program aims to provide a platform for aspiring photographers in colleges and universities to learn, communicate, create and practice mobile photography.

Finally, vivo aims to collaborate with more creators in order to explore the limitless possibilities of mobile photography with the vivo VISION+ Photographers Federation which will be led by JOY IMAGE, a foundation that unites like-minded and excellent photographers across the globe. This effort will ultimately contribute towards the technological advancements and aesthetic developments of vivo's future smartphone designs.
