The best and the brightest from Asia's artistic industry gathered virtually to celebrate 2020's achievements amidst the continuing threat of the COVID-19 pandemic across the globe as the 2020 Asian Creative Academy Awards took place last December 3 and 4, 2020 at the newly-built 3D virtual AAA theatre in Singapore which was first shown to the public and considered by Bobby Tonelli as "Our Industry's Theatre Of Dreams".
Part of the Singapore Media Festival, the Asian Creative Academy Awards recognizes the works of excellence in content creation and media production across sixteen participating countries including the Philippines, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Japan, China, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, Myanmar, Taiwan, South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam. Through the use of virtual tracking technology, the AAA Theatre was able to put performers and winners on the same stage despite being in different locations across the region.
