The performance of Pilipinas Got Talent 2011 grand winner Marcelito Pomoy in the stage of America's Got Talent and several videos from and featuring the country's newest social media darling Ivana Alawi are among the top trending videos of YouTube in the Philippines for the year 2020 while Filipino hip-hop and K-pop were able to conquer the top trending music videos list on the said video sharing platform with Flow G's "Araw-Araw Love" on the top of the list followed by the South Korean female girl group BLACKPINK.
Posted on January 13, 2020, Pomoy's extraordinarily impressive performance on the AGT stage has garnered over 45 million views on the platform and trailing it, in a surprising manner, are three videos featuring Alawi where two of them are from different creators. The second top trending video, featuring a "prank" on the social media, is from renouned TV and internet personality Raffy Tulfo while the third comes from another social media darling Alex Gonzaga. The fourth, a "boyfriend prank", is from no less than Ivana herself where she pretended that DJ Loonyo was actually her boyfriend. Rounding off the top five trending videos on YouTube in the Philippines is a Q&A posted by Lorita Cadeña, mother of the late Lloyd Cafe Cadeña. With these in mind, it is no question that Ivana is also hailed as YouTube Philippines' top content creator.
