As a much challenging 2020 closed its doors and curtains and the world welcomes 2021 with more optimism, positivity and doubtfulness than ever before, SM Supermalls lights up the sky with a heart-warming visual spectacle entitled "Beacon Of Hope" to welcome the New Year with high spirits. Released on SM Supermalls' official Facebook page last December 31, 2020 (New Year's Eve), the Beacon Of Hope video shows select SM malls across different parts of the country illuminating the night with a bright and colorful visual projection mapping on their facade.
Each mall highlights a virtue through a stunning light show and glowing exhibition of shapes and images to create a memorable and captivating visual display. SM Aura Premier embodies 'grace' while SM City Clark radiates 'joy'. SM Megamall brings sparkles as it embodies 'light' while SM City Puerto Princesa displays 'peace' with a gleaming image of a dove as a symbol. SM Cagayan De Oro Downtown shows 'care' while SM Southmall emphasizes the need to 'share'. SM City Dasmariñas celebrates 'service' in honor of the frontliners while SM Lanang Premier emphasizes the importance of having a 'safe' space. SM City Fairview sparks 'fun' while SM City North EDSA spreads 'love' with a hearty light show. SM Seaside City Cebu stresses the value of 'togetherness' while the SM Mall of Asia brings 'hope' that we will all rise and heal as one. The remaining SM malls nationwide have also joined the festivities by lighting up their own respective facades with bright holiday decorations.
