Bren eSports, one of the top professional gaming squads in the Philippines, has officially announced the start of its partnership with EMERGE eSports where the Singapore-based eSports talent management agency will guide the team in their grand entrance into Singapore as well as in its competitive gaming journey ahead. EMERGE is also expanding its advertising inventory to back and manage the Filipino organization across different gaming titles including League Of Legends: Wild Rift. This collaboration means that EMERGE will gain media and advertising rights to the players for marketing purposes, support them in upcoming tournaments and provide and manage growth opportunities for the athletes.
Bren eSports player Carlito Ribo firmly believes that the partnership will widen the team's fanbase and strengthen its identity across Southeast Asia. “We are thrilled to be working with EMERGE Esports and believe this opportunity will bring us closer to our followers in Singapore and in the vicinity. We also hope that the tie-up can empower more esports enthusiasts to pursue gaming and also support us in our journey ahead," Ribo shares. Adding onto Ribo's enthusiasm on expanding the team's reach in Singapore, Bren eSports Chief Operating Officer Leo Andrew "Jab" Escutin says, “EMERGE Esports has shown tremendous growth in the past months in terms of audience engagement and partnerships. Together with our partners and athletes, we look forward to building and enhancing the vibrant esports scene in Singapore and in the region."
For EMERGE eSports Chief Executive Officer Roy Kek, “The esports scene has seen promising growth in the past years with high potential for existing and upcoming players. We are excited to work with one of the finest esports teams the industry has to offer and believe they are a natural fit for our agency. We admire and share their passion for gaming and would like this to be a part of a greater initiative of making gaming a mainstream lifestyle in Singapore and in the region. Competitions have always been a cornerstone of the gaming industry. Although we started our journey with Kingsmen as our first competitive team, it has always been our vision to expand our ecosystem and to be able to support deserving talents. Having a team like BREN Esports onboard not only strengthens our organisation and talent pool but also allows us to represent the esports community on more global platforms.”
Bren eSports has shown dominant performance in the first few months of 2021 with its VALORANT team being the first to qualify for the VALORANT SEA Masters tournament and its Mobile Legends Bang Bang (MLBB) squad walking away with the ultimate victory as the M2 MLBB World Championship winner. The Bren eSports MLBB squad is set to compete in the seventh season of Mobile Legends Professional League - Philippines (MPL-PH) starting March 19, 2021. On the other hand, EMERGE eSports was launched in November last year and has over 70 esports athletes and personalities in their talent pool. EMERGE eSports’ collaborative ecosystem provides teams and talents a holistic support, that enables them to focus their efforts on training and preparation for upcoming events. Services include bridging teams and athletes with sponsors and event organisers as well as co-create content that enhances their image in the gaming community.
