Shopee, the leading e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan, makes it easier for users to top up their ShopeePay wallets with the all new debit card integration purpose in its continuing strides to provide a seamless and more convenient online shopping experience for Filipinos. They can eventually use what they have topped up at ShopeePay to pay for their purchases at any Puregold branch nationwide and even enjoy up to 20% cashback until December 31, 2021. With more Filipinos embracing cashless transactions and digital payment methods gaining traction, Shopee continues to offer a wide range of digital payment options that can cater to the Filipinos' evolving needs.

ShopeePay users can activate their accounts by going to ShopeePay on the Shopee homepage on their PC or smartphone via the Shopee app, enter personal information details, and create a PIN for payment authorization. ShopeePay users can link their debit cards to their accounts in six simple steps, and these are as follows:
1. Go to ShopeePay on the application Homepage and select “Top-Up”
2. Input desired top-up amount (the minimum top-up amount for Debit Cards is P1,000)
3. Go to payment methods and tap on “Add Debit Card”
4. Input card number, expiry date and CVC
5. Enter captcha
6. The newly added debit card will be displayed under the ‘Debit Card’ section.

Once topped up, ShopeePay users can now pay for their purchases in their preferred Puregold branch via the service by following these steps:
1. Inform the cashier you would like to pay via ShopeePay
2. Go to your ShopeePay wallet action bar and tap “Scan.”
3. Click QR / Barcode
4. Enter your 6-digit ShopeePay PIN
5. Present generated QR code to cashier for scanning
6. You will receive a confirmation of your payment
