Asiasoft and ESTgames are officially bringing the mobile version of one of Southeast Asia's hit MMORPGs to gamers in the Philippines and Vietnam via the former's game publishing platform PlayPark. From internet cafes to mobile devices, the once South Korean exclusive Cabal Mobile is considered a celebration for fans of the classic MMO Cabal Online which was once the top-ranked MMORPG in several Southeast Asian countries, including the Philippines, with over six million registered users when it was released more than a decade ago.
Cabal Mobile is set in the land of Nevareth, a thousand years after a cataclysmic event known as the Apocalypse. In this new land, players are tasked to protect the land from a prophesied evil that has awakened, as well as learn the truth about the horrors that threaten to overrun the land. Players can choose from eight available classes: the melee-focused Warrior, dual-wielding Blader, element-based Wizard, defence specialist Force Shielder, the long-range damager Force Archer, the complex but very powerful Force Blader, the Rage-fueled Gladiator, and fast-shooting Force Gunner. Those who have been playing the original PC version can enjoy the familiar features found in Cabal Mobile including PVE and PVP environments, dungeon raids, and the highly popular Faction Wars among others.
“We are very excited to work with ESTgames to bring the Cabal Mobile beyond South Korea. Our community has been waiting to play this game on their mobile devices, and we are thrilled to announce that they won’t be waiting for much longer,” said Asiasoft Chief Executive Officer Pramoth Sudjitpron. “Launching Cabal Mobile in the Philippines and Vietnam is a huge step for us. Cabal PC is the number 1 MMORPG in the country and having the opportunity to share that experience for mobile aligns firmly with our thrust to bring top-quality games for everyone. I look forward to seeing our CABAListas and new players in Cabal Mobile!” said Asiasoft Country Manager For Philippine Operations Apollo Dionglay.
An Android smartphone running on Android 4.4 KitKat OS and above with at least 3 GB of RAM and 2.8 GB free internal storage is required to play Cabal Mobile. For iPhone and iPad users interested in playing Cabal Mobile, your device needs to be running on iOS 11.2 or later versions and 11.7 GB of free internal storage. More details on the launch of Cabal Mobile in the Philippines and Vietnam will be announced in the coming months.
