The landscape of professional wrestling in the global pandemic game continues to intensify as IMPACT Wrestling is set to stage one of the biggest and most monumental events not only in the company's history, but in the sport as well at Rebellion on April 25, Sunday LIVE at 8:00 pm ET emanating from inside the Skyway Studios in Nashville, Tennessee, USA exclusively on traditional PPV in North America and internationally via FITE.

This year's IMPACT Wrestling Rebellion PPV will see IMPACT World Champion Rich Swann and All Elite Wrestling (AEW) World Champion Kenny Omega defending each other's titles in a Title vs. Title match where the winner takes all, and calling this highly-anticipated main event is no less than renouned combat sports commentator Mauro Ranallo who is known for his high energy style of commentary which has captivated pro wrestling fans around the world. After capturing the AEW World Championship belt from former champion Jon Mosley at the December 2, 2020 "Winter Is Coming" episode of All Elite Wrestling Dynamite with little help from IMPACT Wrestling Executive Vice-President Don "The Invisible Hand" Callis, Kenny Omega made his first appearance in IMPACT Wrestling on its December 8, 2020 episode where he and Callis explained what has been transpired and behind what is considered to be the "Golden Screwjob".

Omega would then be involved in a six-man tag team main event encounter at Hard To Kill, IMPACT's first PPV of 2021, with his old friends The Good Brothers (Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows) against IMPACT World Champion Rich Swann, Chris Sabin and Moose and eventually picked up the win for his team when he pinned Swann after performing the One Winged Angel. A few months later, Swann got even with The Cleaner on IMPACT's return to Thursday nights on AXS TV in the US and Twitch when he pinned Omega and picked up the win for his team in a six-man tag team main event. Now, Swann and Omega are looking to make history in their own right when the bell rings and tolls on one of the biggest championship fights in professional wrestling today.

Two different worlds are also set to collide at Rebellion when The Good Brothers are set to regain the IMPACT World Tag Team Championships from New Japan Pro Wrestling stars and former IWGP World Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions Juice Robinson and David Finlay in a title rematch from last month's Sacrifice special on IMPACT Plus. Other matches to take place at Rebellion include Ace Austin (c) (with Madman Fulton) vs. TJP vs. Josh Alexander for the IMPACT X Division Championship; "The Virtuosa" Deonna Purazzo (c) vs. Tenille Dashwood for the IMPACT Knockouts Championship; Fire 'n Flava (Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz) defending the IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Championship; Trey Miguel vs. Sami Callihan in a Last Man Standing Match; Brian Myers vs. Matt Cardona; and Eddie Edwards, "Cowboy" James Storm, Chris Sabin and Willie Mack vs. Violent By Design (Eric Young, Joe Doering, Cody Deaner, Rhyno).
