GMA Network Inc., the largest broadcasting company in the Philippines, has kickstarted its partnership with NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association), the first and oldest collegiate sports league in the country, through a daily dose of everything about the league and what to expect from its anticipated return to the spotlight via GMA Synergy presents "Rise Up Stronger: The Road To NCAA Season 96".
Airing everyday on GTV, "Rise Up Stronger: The Road To NCAA Season 96" will keep Filipino sports fans entertained and warmed up for the opening of the league's first season since the start of the pandemic and promises to give viewers the excitement of watching the NCAA once again on their television screens but on the Kapuso network. Everyday sports fans and viewers will get to chance to know more on the athletes slated to join the 96th season as well as other faces of the NCAA such as coaches, sports luminaries and outstanding alumni who have started their sports journey in the said league. And giving them a daily dose of everything and anything NCAA are the primer's hosts, renouned sports anchor Martin Javier and Kapuso actress and Miss Multinational 2018 Sophia Senoron.

Amidst the continuing threat of the COVID-19 pandemic in the Philippines, NCAA Season 96 is pushing through and is slated to begin on June 13 with a unique opening ceremony. With the theme "Rise Up Stronger" and Colegio De San Juan De Letran as the host school for this season, the NCAA Season 96 will feature online chess, taekwondo and poomsae tournaments as well as skills-based challenges for basketball and volleyball where it will be participated by 10 member schools.
