RSG, the premiere Singapore-based Southeast Asian eSports organization, has officially entered the professional gaming scene in the Philippines and is set to make its debut in the upcoming eighth season of Mobile Legends Professional League - Philippines which begins on August. Aside from competing in one of the country's top major professional gaming tournaments, RSG also looks to develop not only aspiring and potential professional gaming talent but also various engagement initiatives to create a deeper, more meaningful connection to the Filipino gaming community and local gaming enthusiasts.
Founded in 2017, RSG operates across the region to engage with gaming communities through content creators and eSports teams competing in Mobile Legends Bang Bang (MLBB), PUBG Mobile, Call Of Duty Mobile and Warcraft. Building on its presence in Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam and now the Philippines, RSG will continue its growth strategy through regional expansion efforts into key markets. The organization is also exploring plans to expand its competitive capabilities to include other eSports and gaming titles across PC, console and mobile platforms, support local creators and talent and explore long-term collaborations to raise mass awareness and interest on eSports.

RSG has officially introduced its Philippine MLBB squad comprising of experienced and up-and-coming players slated to compete in MPL-PH Season 8 which will be its maiden season as a franchise-based league signalling its commitment to provide more sustainable career plans for players and widening support for players and staff alike as it works towards the goal of raising standards for the industry. Team Captain Kenneth Jiane "Kenji" Villa leads the team who will train under the guidance of 2019 SEA Games Gold Medalist, Coach Brian "Panda" Lim. Joining the team is Elyson Edouard "GHOST Wrecker" Caranza, one of the most popular streamers in the country known for his massive fan base and a big heart for philantrophy, as well as Arvie “Aqua” Calderon, Dexter “Exort” Martinez, Earvin John “Heath” Esperanza, Eman “Emann” Sangco, Joshwell Christian “Iy4knu” Manaog, Jonard Cedrix “Demonkite” Caranto, and Nathanael “Nathzz” Estrologo.
RSG PH will be helmed by local eSports industry veteran Richardson "RJ" Jacinto as Country Manager. Highly attuned to the needs of the Filipino gaming and eSports community, he took up key positions in various eSports organizations and related companies prior to joining RSG. He will be tapping on his ten years of experience in the industry and his expertise in business development, marketing and project management to focus on nurturing and developing young local talent and the development of initiatives for the continuing growth of the local eSports industry.
