One of the first iQiYi Original titles available in Dolby is the recently premiered "The Ferryman: Legends of Nanyang" released in Dolby Atmos. Also available in 4K, the high production quality underscores the streaming platform's dedication of bringing the visions of Asian content creators to life. Premiered last August 24 with new episodes uploaded every Tuesday, the first Southeast Asian iQiYi Original stars Singaporean household names like Lawrence Wong, Qi Yuwu, Tay Ping Hui and Jeanette Aw. More shows with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision will be updated in iQiYi's growing library of premium content in the coming months. The announcement of iQiYi's partnership with Dolby follows the launch of Uni-Icon Entertainment, a joint venture talent management agency showcasing and promoting Southeast Asian talent. iQiYi also showcased its Asian Romance Collection spotlighting seven SWEET ON Chinese original series as well as its first ever Korean original "My Roommate Is A Gumiho". In the middle of 2020, iQiYi officially set up its Philippine office and partnered with the Miss Universe Organization that eventually brought the highly-anticipated beauty pageant to local viewers and subscribers.
