Cignal TV, the Philippines' premier direct-to-home satellite TV provider and the leading pay TV brand in the country, seals its strong partnership with powerhouse film and television production company APT Entertainment Inc. with the launch of BuKo (Buhay Komedya), the first and only 24/7 local comedy channel that brings hilarious, feel-good and non-stop Filipino entertainment to viewers of all ages, any time of the day, across different parts of the country.
Officially launched last August 2, 2021, BuKo offers a feel-good lineup of continuous TV amusement including the all-new BuKo Originals, the channel's flagship block highlighting authentic Pinoy humor and creativity in its exciting fresh programs. Featured in the BuKo Originals block are #MaineGoals (Monday-Friday, 7:30 pm), a lifestyle-oriented show hosted by Maine Mendoza where she will tick off various tasks or "goals" from her checklist; and Kusina Ni Mamang (Saturday, 8:00 pm), a cooking show hosted by Pokwang exploring traditional Filipino home cooking. The BuKo Originals lineup lives up to its title, as each of the shows serves refreshing content in their own unique ways. In #MaineGoals, Maine's comedic flair adds flavor to the lifestyle-oriented show as viewers join her in a journey of new experiences and personal challenges. On the other hand, Kusina Ni Mamang is an entirely new concept as Pokwang, highlighting her humorous wit and love for cooking, takes viewers back to the traditional ways of cooking Filipino dishes that are no longer being practiced nowadays.
