The power of music delivered by some of the hottest and freshest artists across Asia shines brighter in the virtual spotlight as global PC brand Acer successfully staged the Acer Day 2021 concert held last August 8, 2021 and telecasted for free in ten countries across the Asia Pacific region, including the Philippines, with the theme "Live Your World".
Hosted by acclaimed TV personality Robi Domingo, the headline of the Acer Day 2021 celebration featured performances from Taiwanese singer, songwriter and record producer GBOYSWAG; Malaysian singer-songwriter Aina Abdul; Thai artist Earth Patravee; Indonesian pop heartthrob Prince; Vietnamese rapper-songwriter VP Ba Vuong; and Acer Philippines ambassadors Sarah Geronimo, Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla and SB19 as well as rewards, promotions and gifts for consumers and Acer fans. The event was a resounding success with top trending topics on Twitter especially the most talked about in Twitter Philippines #SB19ForAcer.
“We are very proud of Sarah, Kathryn, Daniel, and SB19 because they truly represent the new generation of Filipino artists who can captivate audiences and transcend barriers online as well as they can on a stage with a live audience in front of them. This is the message of Acer Day 2021, that no one can be constrained by the challenges we are facing right now,” said Acer Philippines General Manager Manuel Wong. Acer Pan Asia-Pacific President Andrew Hou, on the other hand, explained briefly about the Acer Day 2021 theme. “The theme ‘Live Your World’ was chosen because it draws inspiration from the belief that all of us can make the best of any situation and continue to live our lives, no matter where we are and what constraints we are under. Technology has broken barriers and enabled people to stay connected even more," Hou shared.
The Acer Day 2021 theme "Live Your World" also happens to be the title of Acer's new anthem performed by Geronimo, GBOYSWAG, Abdul, Patravee, Prince and Ba Vuong and its full version is already out on Facebook and YouTube and will soon become available on Apple Music, Spotify and other digital music streaming platforms.
