Mineski Global, the premiere gaming and eSports organization in Southeast Asia, has officially launched the Mineski Masters, a two-month long series of online professional gaming tournaments that brings the ultimate eSports experience of offline events to online in partnership with local telecommunications company Converge and kicking off the said series is a local PUBG Mobile tournament dubbed as "Battle Of The Ages: Forging New Realms" and it will be followed by the DOTA 2 Regional Invitational.

“Mineski Global is an organization that traces its roots as far back as DOTA2 has. This heritage peaked in 2017 when we created the immensely popular Manila Masters in 2017, and we are thrilled to once again open up a stage for DOTA2 and our fans. With the addition of PUBG Mobile, we are looking at bridging this rising esport title and its dedicated community with the loyal community of DOTA2. Thanks to our sponsors, our Filipino community can view a world-class competition from the safety of their homes,” said Mineski Philippines Country Manager Mark Navarro. “As the esports and online gaming in the Philippines continue to sustain its progress amidst the pandemic, we still see a huge opportunity to grow in this segment and provide underserved customers with better internet services. We remain committed to empower Filipinos with pure fiber solutions to improve their gaming and live streaming activities at home. This year, we are very excited to be a part of Mineski Masters and we have a lot in store for the esports and online gaming community in the coming months,” said Converge Chief Operations Officer Jesus Romero.

The Mineski Masters PH PUBG Mobile tournament is a national level event consisting of a massive four-day competition open to 256 teams from different parts of the country (or a total of 1,024 players) who are vying for the Php500,000 prize pool and the coveted distinction of being hailed as the "True Master" of the battleground. Nationwide qualifiers in group stages run every weekend of October where the top squads in these qualifiers will go on to the Playoffs on November 6-7 and 13-14. On the other hand, the Mineski Masters DOTA 2 Regional Invitational is a four-day eSports tournament pitting the top DOTA 2 squads from across Southeast Asia (SEA) to compete for the Php1 million prize pool. Four Pro teams from SEA have been invited to participate while the host country Philippines is given four slots to complete the eight-team bracket which will be determined through a wildcard tournament open to 128 local teams. The two-day qualifiers will be held on November 21 and 28, followed by the Playoffs slated to run on December 2-5, 2021.
